2025 ASCII Cup Celebrates Innovation and Excellence in the Channel

Washington, D.C. – October 31, 2025 – The ASCII Group, the original and premier community of Managed Service Providers (MSPs) across North America, is pleased to announce the winners of the 2025 ASCII Cup. This annual award honors technology companies that have made a lasting impact in the MSP channel through innovation, commitment, and engagement.
The 2025 ASCII Cup was presented in Philadelphia, PA, on October 30, following the final stop of the year for the ASCII Edge conference series. Inspired by Philadelphia’s iconic Rocky legacy, the evening highlighted the strength and perseverance that define the IT channel.
Throughout 2025, ASCII members voted at eight regional ASCII Edge events across the U.S. and Canada, evaluating technology vendors across 12 categories such as innovation, partner program excellence, and overall value. This peer-driven process ensures the companies recognized are those making the greatest impact on MSPs.

ASCII Navigate MSP Event Announced for Hawaii
Bethesda, Maryland – April 20, 2023 – The ASCII Group, a membership-based community of independent North American MSPs, MSSPs and Solution Providers, is pleased to announce ASCII Navigate, a special one-day event taking place in Honolulu, Hawaii, on December 7. ASCII Navigate is an educational conference designed exclusively for MSPs to map their voyage of IT business ownership within a beautiful conference setting. The destination event will foster the cross-sharing of knowledge within the ASCII community through technical presentations, panel discussions and a keynote speaker.

ASCII Edge MSP Event Series Announced – Fresh Business Content for Growing MSPs

ASCII Edge is an evolution of the company’s flagship conferences, formerly called ASCII Success Summits. The re-imagined events will have an enhanced focus on business education through best practices, networking opportunities, and collaboration in an effort to provide a competitive edge for MSPs in attendance. The ASCII Group Creates Pivotal Industry Study on MSP Services and Vendor Selection
Bethesda, Maryland – September 12, 2022 – The ASCII Group, a large membership-based community of independent North American MSPs, MSSPs and Solution Providers, is pleased to announce the creation of ‘Rate My Stack’, a comprehensive industry study focused on MSP services and vendor selection.
For nearly 40 years The ASCII Group has provided programs, services, and resources for MSPs to better run their IT businesses. With the vast expansion of vendors in the IT channel, Managed Service Providers (MSPs) are continually evaluating which vendor partners serve the needs of their customers the best while helping the MSP build a competitive services offering. To help with this, The ASCII Group saw a need to embark on this one-of-a-kind study. With community in mind, the aggregate data will be used to offer insight while providing peers the ability to share and rate each other’s ‘stacks’ anonymously.
Led by a committee of 12 ASCII members, the ‘Rate My Stack’ initiative was built on providing the individual Managed Service Provider deeper intelligence on what their fellow peers are doing in the market. In aggregate, the data will provide insight into the following areas:
• What components do MSPs typically provide as part of their service offering?
• What are the most popular components of the service stack by category?
• Which vendors are on the rise or decline and the reasoning behind it?
• What are the most popular products/services MSPs are using to run their internal operations?
• What services are typically not offered compared to their peers?

The ASCII Group Ignites New Peer Group Offering
Bethesda, Maryland – March 23, 2022 – The ASCII Group, a large membership-based community of independent North American MSPs, MSSPs and Solution Providers, is pleased to announce ASCII Spark, a new peer group offering for MSPs to collaborate with fellow members.
ASCII Spark is designed for members to come together to discuss business issues and corrective strategies in a non-competitive environment. Participants will be in a peer group made up of 10 fellow members that are geographically separated, and each group is led by a hand-selected ASCII member team leader.
“Our objective in constructing ASCII Spark was to provide an additional means for members to work together at a deeper level while enhancing their operational overview,” said Jerry Koutavas, President, The ASCII Group. “Members have the opportunity to join forces to share best business practices with the intention of building a better IT practice.”
Included in ASCII membership, ASCII Spark is designed to enhance the community model of knowledge sharing and information exchange. With regularly scheduled, coach-led sessions, these meetings are meant to connect owners and like-minded peers to address topics that MSPs are facing in 2022 such as pricing structures, employee compensation and more.
